This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and service adjustments may be processed. General Refund Principles

Service-Based Nature: Most of our offerings are service-based, involving significant planning, resource allocation, and specialized expertise. As such, refunds are generally not applicable for services already rendered or for costs incurred by Sugar Source Group in preparation for a service.
Written Agreements: All services are typically governed by a detailed service agreement, contract, or booking confirmation. The specific refund and cancellation clauses within these documents will take precedence over this general policy.
Non-Transferable: Services and associated payments are generally non-transferable to other clients or services unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Division-Specific Refund & Cancellation Terms

1. Photography & Videography Services

Booking Fees/Deposits: Non-refundable. These secure your date and cover initial consultation, planning, and administrative costs.
Cancellations:
More than 30 days prior to shoot date: Any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to incurred costs (e.g., equipment rentals, pre-production work).
Less than 30 days prior to shoot date: No refunds will be issued for any payments made, as it is unlikely we can re-book the date.
Rescheduling: Subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee. Original booking fees/deposits may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled more than 30 days in advance.
Dissatisfaction with Deliverables: We strive for client satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with the final deliverables, we will work with you to make reasonable adjustments. Refunds are not provided for creative differences once services have been rendered and deliverables provided.

2. Logistics Services

Service Commencement: Once a logistics service (e.g., shipment, delivery, storage) has commenced, no refunds will be issued for that specific service segment.
Cancellations:
Prior to Dispatch/Commencement: Cancellations may be eligible for a full or partial refund, less any administrative fees or costs already incurred (e.g., route planning, vehicle allocation).
During Transit/Storage: No refunds will be issued.
Delays/Disruptions: While we strive for timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, customs, traffic) may cause delays. Refunds are not provided for delays outside our reasonable control. Compensation, if any, will be governed by the specific logistics service agreement.

3. Event Management Services

Booking Fees/Deposits: Non-refundable. These secure our services, initiate planning, and cover initial vendor engagement and administrative overhead.
Cancellations:
More than 90 days prior to event date: Any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to a cancellation fee and all non-recoverable costs incurred (e.g., vendor deposits, design work).
60-90 days prior to event date: A significant portion of the total event cost may be retained, as substantial planning and vendor commitments will have been made.
Less than 60 days prior to event date: No refunds will be issued for any payments made, and the client may be liable for the full contracted amount, as it is unlikely we can mitigate losses.
Rescheduling: Subject to our availability and vendor availability. Rescheduling may incur additional fees and forfeiture of certain deposits. All rescheduling must be agreed upon in writing.
Baking & Catering Services (under Event Management): Specific terms for food and beverage cancellations will be outlined in the event contract, typically involving escalating charges closer to the event date due to perishable goods and preparation time.

4. Property Services (Coming Soon)

Specific refund and cancellation policies for property services (e.g., rentals, sales, management) will be detailed in separate agreements and will comply with relevant real estate laws and regulations upon launch.

Please include your service agreement number, booking date, and a detailed reason for your request.
